When Big Foot made their first, and only for some years, run of speckle-bellies, I spent the then astronomical sum of $36 per for some I wanted to be the bomb badly enough to use them much longer than i should have after they, well...bombed. Didn't like wind at all, and while homemade inverted "L" stakes helped on land, they defied my efforts to get them to stand on inverted crates in water. Worst of all, though, was that their large size made them easier for our hard-pressured specks to spot as manikins and they didn't finish them nearly as well as to the standard G&H shells that were our "gold standard" until the first Hardcores hit the market.
The Big Foots did their best work as the grandkid's yard spread and pool toys.
