Well, that's not good news.

Edit... I sent out a couple of text's after reading that and found we may have the same situation at our place.

Sorry man but try and look at the brite side. At least you got water.
Hope it goes down in time for you to kill some big ducks.

Sorry MB. Missing out has to suck. Hope you get better in time to shoot something.

I may be in the same boat due to that old house kicking my A. I've got a honey-do list from hell from my mother.
She does the same thing to my brother only worse. Poor guy.

Looks like the biggest step to putting it behind you is, in fact, behind you.

Bummer on the shoulder issue MB, and hope your physical therapy and healing go well ( and as fast), as can be expected.

If we lose another six inches, we'll not get out of the boat house.

That would be one I'd want to ask the Enforcement Division about - and get the name of my contact if the answer is "yes".

Question: Is it legal to use a "Judge" type pistol shooting .410 shells at waterfowl. I realize the pistol has 5 shots, but if you could seal off 2 of the holes in the cylinder to make it only a 3 shot gun???

The regulations specifically say: No person shall take migratory birds: with a trap, snare, rifle, pistol, swivel gun .........

Hard to not make a reference to the old Nintendo "duck hunt" game where you shot the ducks with a PISTOL.
Dog laff'd when you missed.
For you younger guys who are wondering wtf...

Plan B might be interesting. What you got brewing now?

Remember back when a smoke was a smoke and a pop tart actually could get some on yuh? They got stingy as heck on the filling so nobody would burn their lip or whatever.
The land of super cuisine and y'all eat pop tarts in the blind?
Pop tarts? What flavor?

Any body here getting excited about Saturday?

I am, for sure.

When I open a can of those little wieners in the blind, Ellie gets her share.

In the "Way back when..." there were no cell-phones, my emergency stash for a unscheduled night in the marsh consisted of a tarp, wool blanket, juice jug of water and Pop Tarts. Blueberry and Strawberry.

Me2. In the 1900's... I used to carry in three or four dozen decoys on my deer cart (until it got stolen).
I'd stroll in at 12:01 am to the walk-in. Pick my site then set up and snooze with a tarp, sleeping bag, and a wool blanket, or two. (can carry a ton-o-gear on one of them carts) It gets cold up here. Waking up under four inches of fresh snow is special. (for specially retarded individuals)

Stuff like that makes you wish for a heated boat-blind to sleep in.
Then you can haul a stove and the makings for a real breakfast.

There is a pretty good chance that I may be sleeping in the boat tonight at site-X at the lake I use.
Bacon and egg sammiches for pre-LST chow.
Pop tarts???

Hear, hear! A lot of my hunters have to be on the phone in the blind for their jobs, and I can understand that. But I don't have to like it.
