Moldy waders

That other wader thread got me thinking about gettin my stuff ready. These waders have been in the garage all sprig and summer and have gotten rather moldy. Yeah they're brown fishing waders but they were only 90 bucks and they're warm ( for when it's too cold for my vinyls) hate the throw them away bc they don't even leak but they are covered in mold. Any ideas on how to get it off? Maybe a pressure washer?

Pressure washer might cut them if you aren't careful. Only thing I can think of is rubbing them with bleach but you probably don't want to do that.

Really diluted bleach. Just keep adding a little to water till it comes off. I wouldn't think It should do much harm to the waders, but what do I know.

I guess I don't really care of they get discolored. I'm gona try a little bleach tomorrow. If it bleaches them out then ill probly just spray paint them back brown.

You might try some Simple Green and a soft scrub brush. It shouldn't discolor your waders.

X2. Didn't think if that...Works better than bleach and you can drink it if you wanted.

You can drink bleach if you really want to. It's not recommended though.

You can drink bleach if you really Need to pass a drug test. It's not recommended though.
I think I'll try simple green and a sun bath for the moldy waders.

Good plan.
I knew a guy that drank bleach once to try and pass a drug test, it didn't work. He was an idiot!

Hang the waders up feet down. Mix bleach/water in a spray bottle 50/50 and spray the waders. Let set for a few minutes and then rinse with garden hose. Wipe dry with old towel or some such cloth. Store hanging up in a cool dry place.
If they smell bad on the inside, add a couple of table spoons of Woolite to each leg and fill to crotch with cold water and agitate, let set for a few minutes, drain and rinse with cold water. Hang upside down in a cool dry place to dry.
