Most of my walk ins were in the swamp, shin busting, log tripping ventures, so no access using wheels, and even trying to pull a pirogue was out of the question, due to the undergrowth. There are some good decoys sacks made now that have waist and shoulder straps, just for walking in, but if you could use a wheeled cart to access your hunting spot, seems like that would be the way to go.

Man you're in the right place.
Where in Illinois are WE hunting?
I have a boat.
To answer your question get a cheap deer cart at menards or wherever is cheap. If you hunt Carlyle or certain walk ins you'll wear it out.
USE A LOCK!
They target and steal them game carts.

Then you know about Shelbyville walk ins. I think I might hunt the kaskaskia. Public is what I do.
I have used a field or two but getting permission is pretty rare.

While I've found ways to haul more gear:

I'm most inclined to simply haul less. Usually pare it down to gun, shells, calls, a handful of decoys and the dog. Sometimes add a couple squares of camo cloth "gillies" to clip natural vegetation to for the dog and I in wide open spots.

I have one of those Rogers decoy carts. Nice big wheels, easy to move around and takes a beating. Also not a bad price!
