What do you get on average at top end/cruising speed on your duck boat? I get 6000rpm(I'm guessing about 36-38knt, don't have a mph gauge on the boat) at top end and I cruise at between 3500 and 4200 rpms(about 28-32knts)

Depends on your motor, boat size, prop size and pitch. 6k seems a bit high but check your owners manual. On my "fun" boat I like to have my top end around 5500 rpm(87 evinrude 90hp) can't think of pitch right now but I have a couple props depending on what I'm doing with it.

Yeah I know that. It was more if a question as to what other people get out of there boats. It's a new Yamaha 115hp on a 22' flat bottom skiff. I think the pitch is 17 or 18 but I'm not sure.

From biggest to smallest
24' 34ish mph
21' 72 mph
14' 28 mph
12' 33 mph

The 14 has a 4 blade prop that is pitched kinda low, will maintain 22 mph with almost 1000 pounds, thinking a three blade will get me mid 30's

Thinking the "guns" will be giving me their 16' here pretty soon, I shoul be able I get that to around 30 with a little work ;)

My duckboat runs 25 mph. My Maverick flats boat runs about 45 with the 115 etec ran 50+ with the old Yamaha 130.
The little duckboat is a hoot though kinda like a sports car once it's on plane.

Honestly I never checked the speed on the 16', the 40hp pushes it pretty good, but a 75hp tiller would be awesome and slightly dangerous, just depends on whos driving!
And yes it is ready to roll, just needs gas and a battery.
