The "poor" man's boat thread

Postby aunt betty » Fri Mar 22, 2013 5:50 pm

It's on that other site but dang...the guy has a jungle gym built onto the boat.
Having someone who is way better off than me refer to themselves as "poor" struck a nerve.
Poor old aunt betty. Having boat jealousy... :o
I've heard that it's incredibly stupid to fuck around with a crazy man's head.

I've got a poor mans boat, and while there are people with less than I, I'm certainly not well off.

Whatever, show off.
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I live, I will kill you. If I die, you are forgiven." Such is the rule of honor.

Having a mud motor, disqualifies it from being poor man boat

Oh. So the 'built to order' part would probably disqualify it too?

There's a reason why the wife isn't allowed to park in the garage.

22'. She'll roll pretty good. Don't have a mph gauge. Just the rpm gauge. But my guess is top end is 36knts or better. She's heavy as shit tho. I might have forgotten the plug once. So now there might be some water logged foam. Still rolls along pretty good. It has bad cavitation sometimes. Kills some speed. I need to get more cup put in the prop and that should fix the problem.
