Anything special I should ask for or look for.
Am in Arkansas, far from home, and my rope shredded. I got an emergency rope on board for that situation luckily.
Its a pita taking cover off.

Where would you go and what would you ask for?
3/16"?
I am clueless.
Evinrude 9.9/15

Lawn mower parts section at the hardware or walmart. Or find some solid nylon, you don't want poly rope.

Parachute cord will work but doesn't last as long.

$5 at AutoZone. Wal-Mart struck out.
They thought I was crazy working on a boat when it's 9 degrees.

Guys, this is why you keep this in the boat tied to the transom brace...
A spare to wrap around the flywheel. That's why it has them grooves cut in it.
