Yep. Add brackets, and a conduit blind frame. Make sure your cover reaches the water, and you're set.

That would be a giant duck boat. As long as you hunt deep water, you could make it work.

I prefer to go the other way. Turn a Jon boat into a bass boat. But for 6k as long as everything works you could make it work. Long runs wouldn't be a problem at 75mph.

You're going to make every bass fisherman cry but post pictures of your progress if you do decide to do this project! I think it'll be interesting.

Hardest part will be scuffing up that shiny gel coat so the camo paint will stick.Maby i could make a slip cover or something for hunting and not have to paint it...

Use cordura for your blind, with netting on top of it for vegetation/raffia to attach. As long as it meets the water there's no need to paint.

We have a history of giving excellent boat/blind advice on this forum.

It's one of the many things we are known for.

For the best advice on building a boat blind look up the thread on TK's boat blind thread.

Nothing wrong with using a fiberglass bass boat to hunt ducks from. As mentioned break out the camo netting and crank the sounds up.

While technically not a bass boat like you're talking, I've seen some awesome builds where people turn Bass Trackers into duck boats.

I recently almost traded my jon boat for a 2008 18 ft welded aluminum smoker craft gutted out and made into a duck boat. Bitch was 78 inches wide too. Dude got wise and backed out of the deal though.

Yup. I think you were the one that talked me into buying that boat when I was asking about it on DHC.

I was told that MC stands for "Motor Craft" or maybe "Marine Craft" I can't remember.
