Do a second bar to help "round out" the blind material, it also gives you more room on the inside. I'll go take some pics of my blind right now so you can see how it works. Its hard to describe, pics will be better.

This is at the front of the bow looking down while the blind is in the down position.

This is a pic of the belly bar with the blind up, and the blind material not yet rolled down.

One of the metal clips that hooks the 1" nylon webbing to the gunnel rail. There are 3 sets of these straps running from front to back. When you go to set up the blind grab the middle set on each side and lift up, then clip the plastic buckles. No need for a prop up bar.

I can set this blind up by myself in about 2 minutes. It takes maybe 10 to roll up the material on both sides, then drop the bars. It has been in use for 6 seasons I think, and is holding up pretty well.

You can buy the metal clips from Mud Buddy, their website also has some more pictures. Its called the shaggy pro blind. I love how the "guille suit" type material rolls up and stays out of the way when not in use.

Where do you put the decoys, your buddy, and your dog?

Also, I've heard so so reviews about what that grass does when it's folded over like that. If you are happy with it, than that is all that is needed. I'm sure you won't be flaring birds because of it. You got that thing COVERED. Good job on that!

The decoys will fit under the folded grass buddies will have to sit in the center and on the deck, I don't have a dog I just send my younger brother Orr we just drive a pick up the ducks depending on how shallow it is. I was able to make a pretty loose fold with the grass so it shouldn't break that stuff seems pretty tough we will have to see though. If it does break I will look into the Avery killer weed to patch it when needed

A buddy has the exact same set up. I like sitting on the grass folded over like that on the way out. Better than sitting on a hard metal seat, any day! His grass has lasted almost 3 years, with the abuse. RealGrass it is.
