Checking steel shot inventory. Should be enough to shoot a woodie and a hoodie this season?

Well if you find mallard lake I'd try to let you shoot a mallard. The last guy ...missed and blamed me for snagging his stock on the blind. I'd told him to practice or pretend shoot a little to figure out what can go wrong but no...
He just plain missed a hovering duck.
It stinks still.

Haven't inventoried ammo, yet. Might not want to know...

I did my ammo inventory. Which this post reminded me that I need .22 hornet ammo. How else do you get those collared geese way out in the field?

Just a joke, but it was my grandfather's poaching rifle so it would feel like a young rifle again back in the '50's when it killed a lot of illegal animals.

My wife and I always take a day trip to the range and shoot from open to close except for a lunch break to the nearby diner. My wife loves to shoot the hornet. I do too, but don't get to shoot it that much Stocked up with the other ammo for the range day.

Also stocked with shotgun shells even if I have a good year. If like last year, I have several years worth. Here's to hoping I run out mid season

I hear you. I’d love to run out of steel shot this winter, which would mean all the pacific flyway ducks came to Louisiana looking for water.
