Anyone have experience with copper bullets? The ballistics on some of the factory loads with copper bullets are a little more favorable than the loads with my preferred bullet (nosler partition). Thinking about giving them a try, but I really like how the partitions perform.

I used to shoot TSX's out of my .300Wby, was a real good round.

What are you planning on shooting with them?

Those Barnes triple shocks (at least in lead) are the real deal. Always put a whoopin on the deer. A bad one.

The bear I shot with one died instantly. It was bad ass.

Deer and antelope. Maybe an elk but only a headshot.

Yeah I'm a huge fan. I recovered one from an elk last year, went through about 5' of body and was a perfect mushroom under the skin on the far side.

81.7 g of RL22 with a MRP and a 165 TSX would go out right at 3090-3130fps and would group between .5-1" consistently. Considering that was out of a MkV Ultralite (sub 6lb) rifle-I was happy.

Fuck yourself jgun, he was quartered to me at 20 yards. Slipped it right behind the elbow and it popped out directly in front of the back leg. Damn good shot considering the angle and how fast it happened.
