We got a late start this year, but we’ve been laying the hammer down on the coyotes. Only one fox so far. In my opinion fox do more damage to the eggs and nesting birds than coyotes. Most of the farmers and landowners tell me they enjoy seeing the fox which I reply. Well, I enjoy seeing ducks, geese, and upland birds much more so I will never hesitate to shoot a fox if it comes to the call!

This footage is from the scanner that Vincenzia uses. I’ve got so many videos on my scope that I have not found the footage of these two. The app for my scope says that I can view videos but I don’t know because I have to download them and the problem with that is my phone is full. Just got an external drive so hopefully I can clear up a bunch of space. I am excited to see what it looks like through my scope, though, as my scope is much higher quality than this cheap scanner.

The music choice is kind of a joke, so you may want to turn the volume down.

The basic story is we were on the stand may be a minute, No more than two minutes. I did my howling, and then, when I started doing the distress I was turning to my right, at the same Vincenzia was trying to alert me that a coyote was coming from behind us fast and it was Very close. Just as I was pulling the trigger I noticed the second one. Typically I would shoot the farther one first but it was too late. If I remember correctly, the second one stopped about 240 yards away. Ended up having a third one come in close about 10 minutes later and I shot that one as well. I have not uploaded that footage yet though to the YouTube.

Seeing the fluids come out via the thermal always puts a smile on my face!

Looked like you might have grazed his back. Then I think you shot behind him twice on the run before you smoked him.

Very cool videos.

Not sure about the music though :o
