Wish we could hunt dove around here. Love chasing **** around in early fall too. Great warm up for the pup for grouse too.
No dove hunting what is the reason for that ?
PETA, HSUS, and liberals
Man that saddens me to hear that , I didn't realize they had been that successful back east.
We were battling them with a wolf hunt the past couple years. But looks like we won that one.
For a very short time. Unless our State Senators act TOMORROW it will be on the general ballot in November and the AR groups will outspend us 3:1 and we'll be forever hosed.
That never passed?
I thought we finally got it where game laws could no longer be voted on?
Not yet. There are enough certified signatures to place it on the ballot OR the legislatures can vote to certify the results of the referendum for scientific management of species of seasons and make it law with out popular vote...if they do nothing, it will be on the ballot....however the bunny huggers collected signatures for their referendum...but not enough to bypass the ballot box....if the legislature fails to act BOTH sides will have their issue on the ballot in November.
I'm not hopeful that the legislature will act decisively on this issue in an election year, so I'm guessing that it will go to the general election and the ARs will show up with shitloads of California and Chicago and New York cash and buy a vote and scientific management will be bufu'd
