Looks like maybe just a bit (hopefully just ENOUGH) east of you to really improve the Mobile area's outlook.

This morning's cone below. Note the Google Weather Lab AI model has really had this pegged all week long around Pensacola, and the cone is only slowly, but surely, creeping east. It may well end up further east of Mobile Bay than feared, hoping so.

Water at the camp is up and will rise steadily much of the day I'm sure with ripping NE winds before turning around to NW winds and hopefully dump out quickly tonight and over the weekend.

The GFS, Euro and the Google AI model are bullish on legit front for next weekend, something to watch in next few days to see if those outlooks firm up even more. They're oddly well aligned this morning on scale of temps and timing.

Sunday morning 10/18, below.......possibly.

Yea pretty much exactly what you want to be seeing this time of year if you're looking for a migrator to move southward, rippin northerly winds across the breeding grounds.

Recall last year it was fairly tame in October but we got that big front the weekend before opener and I think that was the ticket.

As Darren mentioned, it appears Mobile will now be on the Western edge of the storm, and all I can say is WHEW.......and Thank You Lord!!!!!
Great news regarding the impending cool front!

After a brief but disappointing stint for teal season, let myself calm down and got back to basics with Indy earlier this week and we’ve strung a good few days together building on dummies outfitted with each a saved blue wing from last month. Has taken well to that and moved up to larger dummy today, probably need to get one more to have multiple large dummies for continued training efforts to come.

Will try to make it every single day leading up to Nov opener. The Dokken pictured is the only dummy that remains serviceable from Harry’s training days and would be even better condition had he not gotten ahold of it one day without me around.
