Haha Rick you may not realize it but ya made me laugh

Honestly I hate the Blackout call. I only bought it so that I could sell it to some clowning dumbass down the road and make some money off it. The elaborate engraving on it pissed me off enough but this may have broken the camels back. About done with RNT for good. I'm really liking my new cutdowns anyway.

I've an older Daisy Cutter that would be worth a lot more money if I hadn't asked them to leave it unengraved. Didn't want some silly duck scull on the barrel or scrolling ("John's pubes") on the insert. And having seen the call's namesake's work, I'd not have bought one at all on the grounds of believing it inane to associate one with the other, if I'd not been hooked by the old DC's tone. That's the bottom line for me: what a call can do and how that fits my needs and desires. If the devil built duck whistles, I'd probably want to try one, just to know, and put it to work if I found it did something I needed better that what I have.

I'm not buying another one. Having one is bad enough. It hasn't seen the light of day since I got it in. Just sits in the box and will until I can sell it.

Buying duck calks as investments/collections. Kinda like collecting comic books is a fad. Wouldnt take it all too seriously but... If I were RnT I would be milking the call market with both hands and both feet.

I was starting to think you'd forgot me. Hadn't gotten any awesome emails in a while!

I'm really hoping things start slowing down for me. I laugh at your alls antics when I check in, but don't post for fear of getting way behind. You all added almost 800 pages to the 100,000 post thread since I looked at it last.

I will just keep my shitty old $80 ebay used RNT original that no one likes but me. Not collectable. Not one of the cool kids. But it sounds very ducky.

As for sell outs, blame the Robertsons.

I gave $80 for my Original. One of the best calls I have. I hardly ever buy new calls (I think I have bought 3 at full price) since most of the time you can get the same call off one of the classifieds for $50 less than what they sell for hardly used.

Take it back and get a refund then go to Cabelas and get two of them. You kept the receipt didn't you?

No return policy on calls. Apparently it is a biohazard but every Tom, Dick, and Harry can blow them in the store and its ok.

Well then, take it to a local trophy shop and have them engrave 1 of 100 on it and put it up for sale on Ebay and all the hunting forums for $300
