Not a bad choice either. Id like to find a good uncut one just to see how they sound.

Well I could've sent it to you untouched, but just couldn't help myself.

You cut it? How'd it turn out?

I'm currently tinkering a little. Going very slow, I've got it sounding pretty good. Nice pop, more rattle and much easier blowing the one bryce cut, and deeper than the bm I have.

Awesome. It'd be cool to hunt with a call that you personally had a hand in. Still thinking about getting an uncut BM to play with.

Tempting, being acrylic it'd probably be a bitch to cut but I might have to do it. This olt was just as easy as the bm. I'm learning more about tone boards in the process and think I have way to make them easy to blow even with a decent slope. I'm not 100% but it seems that I've found a way that forces the air to the reed and blocks some from the tone channel. Based on simple physics it makes sense. The air goes straight to the reeds and somewhat dams up on the blunt end under where the tone channel is keeping air from being wasted without creating hold. It's somewhat of a cross between a La and Ark cut.

Just got another mvp. $50 because it's out of tune. I'm going to mod it and see what'll happen.

What do you plan on doing with it? Opening up the bore? You should try putting a spit removal system on it. Like Doc Hulls or the Foiles.

Pretty sure he's a little far north for hurricanes to be a problem. I have family in New Iberia and they have to deal with them.
