Need some help

I got this call when I was 10 or 11 from a friend for my birthday. I'm almost positive he stoled it from his dad and it came In a clear plastic shot shell case with the brass part being yellow. It only says champion on it. It's a poly single reed but I would like to know if anyone knows who makes it.

Interesting. I've been within an hour of LC for 20-some years, and until Riceland started up, Faulk and Cajun were the only two LC area call companies I recall. Particularly interesting in that it's an Arkansas J-frame, instead of traditional Louisiana style wedge design, making it almost surely from my time here. Perhaps I've slipped a cog, or two...

You'll never find it, I was just taking a shot in the dark.

How about Faulks calls?

Is that call as big as it looks? Or do you have unusually small girlish hands? It appears to be every bit as big as a goose call.

It's big for a duck call.

My dad has one. He said when he was in high school those and the big wooden Lohmans were the only calls you could get. Don't have any other information on it though.

I take that back I do remember him saying something about it coming from Arkansas but I will have to ask him and see if he can remember anything else about it.

Ask dad about his call tonight. He couldn't remember anything about it other than it came from Wal-Mart or K Mart or Gibson's.

Its just a regular injection molded call. Lohmans and Faulks were high tech calls for North Texas in the 70s and 80s from what I hear. Not a lot of custom call makers anywhere near us.
