Hudson. Do you know how good that call on the left is? If you hunt timber mallards guard it closely.

I'm small. Huntal6 and I are possibly the only two duck hunters in Illinois who are less than 5'8" tall.
The call is normal size.

 Left to right.
White Lightning (black)
Throwback large bore guts in small bore barrel
RnT Hunter series Timber
Throwback large bore Illinois cut
See? It's normal size. I have small paws and feet.

I'll get one eventually, but I just bought a goose call in the classifieds elsewhere.

There's a video on the CCC home page in which it's put through it's paces. Not for me but plainly has its fans, check it out for yourself.

Assuming the tuning hasn't been boogered on your used one or that you know how to re-tune it, which isn't hard, I suspect you'll like it fine. Know it's my pick of the litter of classics and Internet darlings I tried during my fit for Canada calls. Easy to run and can get wicked quick, even for someone like me who seldom picks a Canada call up.
(Liked the hedge so much I had Mark make me up blackwood XXX I have absolutely no need for but haven't worked up the gumption to pass along yet.)

not what I thought it'd be. Not a cutdown by any means but a decent runner, I don't that it'll kill birds at all but not very versatile in terms of what it'll do. Definitely a hunter only.
