I acquired a 935 about 6 yrs ago and it will cycle the Lightning Steel loads if they are going 1550fps or faster per the recipe. It is also shoots them 100 fps faster. I have been killing geese with LS 35 the 7/8 oz Rio load using steel B's getting 90% patterns with the Mossy Mod factory choke at 40 yds, that's 68/75 pellets. You only need 35 pellets to put 5 in a 8lb Lesser. This combination runs out of pattern density at 50 yds. Over decoys this is a fantastic load. It runs out of penetration energy at 65 yds. At 4000 ft where I shoot geese it has a penetration distance to kill at 73 yds. I just use it over decoys using RSI 75 with BB's as my 3 rd shot. Ned S

I have an old 835 in the closet. I've been wanting to take it out and do some side by side comparisons to see the difference in patterns.

On a different note what chokes do you use with bigger shot in your hasting barrel?
