Gun raffle

Postby Tomkat » Fri Jul 13, 2012 4:24 pm

I am sure its no surprise to learn that I am involved with the fund raising efforts of my local DU Chapter. I have served on the committee for 3 years now, and it has been a challenging and rewarding experience.

We are raffling off 100 tickets to win either a Ducks Unlimited 75Th Anniversary Browning Maxus, or $1,000 dollars, your choice. Here is a link with pictures of the gun-

http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIt ... 457125#PIC

It is indeed a beautiful gun. The raffle tickets cost $20 apiece. The "ticket" you get is actually a leg band that would dress up any lanyard.

If you are interested in taking a shot at this gun, getting yourself a band, and helping the future of waterfowl hunting, please send me a PM.

Thank you for supporting DU.

That would be wonderful. If you want to send me a PM we can iron it out, and I will see to it you get recognized for your generosity.

THANK YOU to all WFF members that have stepped up to do their part to preserve wetlands and promote duck hunting for future generations!!

BTW, The gun we are raffleing off is a beautiful gun. Its actually worth more than that $1,000 we offer as an option to the winner.

Send me the info for this please. I would like a ticket.

That shotgun is very nice, I think I would be too tempted to take it out hunting.

I don't get why they fired Denny Green. Maybe he didn't win, but that guy took them to the playoffs over and over and over again.

I did get it, thanks.

Vince knows I am not gonna mess around with the results...or I would win for me!!! LOL I am a lot of things, but a thief and a poacher aint among them.

We have about 300 people at our banquet, normally we hire hooters girls to sell event day raffle tickets and then let one of them draw our grand prize.

Too bad you won't be there Vince, I am SURE you would like some of them.

Very cool, TK.

I'm looking at attending a local DU event in a few weekends. It's 100 bucks a ticket, but they're raffling off a ton of good stuff. A few shotguns, an ar, a pistol, and a few yetis. It's 100 bucks a ticket. Gets you 2 dinners and 1 entry into the raffles. And buys 2 annual DU memberships.

Damn you Tom! Just yankin your chain. Post office left me a card saying I owed 3.50 on the shipping for some reason, and the package is at the post office, which closes before I get home from work. Will have to call them in the morning to tell them to just drop it off and I'll leave them some cash.
