a few more days

Postby 3legged_lab » Tue Jul 31, 2012 10:54 am

By early Saturday morning I'll be headed west til I run out of road, then I'll get in a boat and go a liitle more west, then start dropping lines. Its gonna be aweful leaving the upper 80's and spending a week in the mid 60's. I'll send pictures.

Rockfish and lings, sometimes a greenling or cabazon here or there. I also plan on catching crabs while I'm there. (That was a slow pitch over the plate)

Tell her she still owes me for dinner.

We always used our greenling for crab bait. Cabezon and ling cod are a different story, they make great battered fish.

My favorite is to batter up the lings and make fish tacos. Little bit of fish, cilantro, salsa and maybe some grated cheese on top of a soft corn shell.

Throw some type of cole slaw type stuff or a salsa with roasted corn and that's pretty damn hard to beat. Wear 'em out man!
