They're just the right size to attract honeybees. So build extras for the ducks. lol

True that! We did a Wood Duck Box program through Mobile County Wildlife for years, but the boxes were already made and delivered when we arrived at the launch for deployment. Part of the program was checking contents of past installations as well, and it was not uncommon to find honeybees packed into them from time to time. We'd also find owls and squirrels that had set up house. Having a squirrel jump out of a box and onto you while up on a ladder, will tighten your asshole quickly

DU and Delta Waterfowl I believe both have plans on their websites. They should. If not I'm certain Google week have them somewhere.

Don't put them too close to each other. If they are close, hens will often times use one as a dump box and you'll find like 25 eggs in one box. The original hen realizes somethings up and just leaves, making everything all for not.

Try to keep them 20 feet from trees or else you'll just have squirrel boxes. And if you have them over open water they usually are merganser boxes (at least here in mn)

Yeah I found a plan on Youtube that looks pretty simple. I'm going to be placing them in a few open areas in my cattails marsh and along the banks of the creek that boarders my house. I'll keep you up to date on the progress...
