Just finished "One Bullet Away" the making of a Marine Corps Officer by Nate Fick. Excellent read. If you liked the HBO series Generation Kill this will be right up your alley. Capt. Fick was in the "Hitman" platoon during their push into Iraq. I hope I get the book "Generation Kill" for my birthday...............

The only thing that wasn't outstanding was the $25 price tag. I bought it anyways and finished it in a few hours. Half the book is about Si when he was in Vietnam. Gets dry after 3-4 chapters of Vietnam.

The book titled The Old Man and the Boy by Robert Ruark is a very hard read. If you want to get a feel for back when a smoke was a smoke...well worth the trouble.
