California style duck gumbo. It's a Cajun recipe, but it's California style cause it's made in California.

No pic yet, but im calling this dinner "the jehler" since he loves my all over the place cooking.
So far starting with sauteed onions, peppers and garlic, added to bottle of beer and chicken broth in soup pot. Added some sliced venison andouille, sliced blackened gator sausage, ground chorizo, tomatoes, brown rice and some mediterranean seasoning. Simmering it all for a while and have some cornbread muffins in the oven (doctored up with beer and applesauce instead of milk).
It smells awesome in the house right now!
