I bought a Polish P-64, really cheap but has single/double action and a de-cocking safety. 9X18 mm which is a little more powerful than .380 and a little less expensive to buy. If I remember correctly I paid $249 with two magazines, a holster and cleaning kit. Small enough to carry and very well built.

son of a bitch, i thought the 36 was a double stack!

actually i intended on getting the 30 sometime this next year. it fits my hand better than the 36. i'd like a full size single stack to match my 1911

The reports on the 36 are not as impressive as the rest of the glock line up.

Just get a double stack 1911 from para if you want more rounds. They hold 14 I think.

Para is garbage (Remington), they were decent back when they were Canadian. Best feeling double-stack 1911 I've ever held was an ATI Fat Boy, damn that thing fit in the hand nicely!

my daily carry (container carry until May) is a para slim hawg. i have beat the piss outta that little thing and she just keeps ticking. either i got lucky, or people are too lazy to figure out what kind of ammo/mags their gun will run with.

mine, for instance, HATES federal ammo an pro-mags, but has never had a failure with remmington ammo and kimber (or factory) mags.

I could be wrong, but I think you'll find that yours is a Canadian made Para. I find it interesting that yours likes Kimber mags, as Kimbers dont even like them...

I am guessing that the 9mm is probably the most deadly pistol round and the .45acp the second most deadly if judged by body count alone. Both pistol rounds were also popular as sub machine gun rounds. I would bet money that the .357 mag doesn't even come close to the deadliest handgun round when body count is considered.

Keeping in mind that both rounds were used in WWI, WWII and continue to be used today.

I was surprise as well. Happened I get one on sale last year an took a chance on it. That pistol doesn't cycle worth a damn will milserp, promag or act mags though. It's picky, but with the right combo, runs as well a any other gun. And I think you may be right about the Canadian thing.....

Mob hits pale in comparison to the number of Jews killed by the Germans in WWII with the 9mm.
