They were just here last weekend. The shop manager at the farm was going to get me tickets but it fell through. I would like to see one live and see what all the hype is about. I can't bring myself to watch it on tv though.

If you ever do go, give yourself some time. A few hours before the race is plenty, to get the full experience. Stroll around, drink a few beers, look at the redneck spectacle that is NASCAR. Also (and this is important), they encourage you to bring your own stuff in. I've never been to the Phoenix race, but I can't imagine it's any different than Dover, Martinsville, Richmond, or Charlotte. You'll be shocked to see guys walking in with a case of beer on one shoulder, and 3 pizzas in the other. It's awesome. So don't forget the cooler full of ice and beer.
