Just dropped the radio off at UPS and I casually mentioned to the girl behind the counter a short version of the story and that the guy was probably going to claim the insurance on the other side and she noted that it wasn't working in the comments for the insurance I bought and said he couldn't claim insurance on it now and scam UPS out of money.

I've ran into both good and bad cops.
Ironically, it's when I report a crime that the bad ones show up and want to play "are you sure?" games.
Have decided to never, ever report a crime unless it's a capital offense. Why?
A Rantoul, Illinois police officer had a long talk with me about when my car stereo got stolen that "since I didn't have insurance reporting it's a waste of his time and it will only make the crime rate go up".

So from now on I'm doing my part to fight crime by NOT reporting it.

I just got him to cave and he just offered through the eBay resolution center (so it's documented) to refund my money if I returned the radio!!!!!!!! I'm very pleased with the events that unfolded much to my surprise I stayed very calm while being yelled at and threatened by this fine officer of the law up in the great state of Ohio and it all worked out in the end.

If he is close by I would be happy to go burn his fucking house down for you. Real talk.

Actaully I would have. I quoted the guy word for word. If you go back and read (which we know you don't like doing) you won't find a single time in here I ever talked about him being a cop other than directly quoting him. I never made a single damn comment on it. Other people here have but I never did. If he had never SCREAMED that he was a cop AT me I would never have know and I sure as hell wouldn't have come here saying "I bet that guy was a cop".
