Probably because a bunch of kids getting stabbed isn't something to joke around about! Just a guess.

Yeah. But if I start doing two weeks of wearing black every time a shooting or stabbing happens...I'd be in black forever.

Where I live..there has been a stabbing or shooting almost every day for several years now. I don't understand it. Lived here for close to 45 of the 53 years I've been alive and really it was peaceful until quite recently. I'm numb to this stabbing and shooting stuff because it's on the news every single day. There was a man stabbed on Green street today. Another in Rantoul this weekend at the trailer I used to own.

I'm just a guy who is powerless to do anything about the violence so why let it get me down? When I get shot or stabbed it will not even make the news and nobody will be outraged.
Bigger powers than me will take care of it.

Champaign County.
Chicago came up with a law that allows police to arrest known gang members if they are in a group of two or more. You could get arrested for standing at a bus stop next to a gang member. Yeah.
So lots of gang ppl move south to get away but they're still in the gang...down-state Illinois is now gangland thanks to a city ordinance in Cook County.

Its probably best to wait a day or two to gather facts.
Too often the news runs partial stories that are incomplete and lacking facts.

For instance flight 370... watching Sully over and over saying "I dunno" is not news yet it was on the news.

I get that but I know they covered a story when some Chinese/Japanese guy cut a bunch of people over there. Seems like something that would get covered on Fox but not elsewhere. Who knows, maybe it will be on tonight.

News networks have their own agenda and search for stories that help push that agenda. Which one is the "we want to start a war because our owners profit from it" network? Hint: it's owned by France.

Most likely if we did some digging we'd find that Fox is owned or financed largely by BOA which is anti-gun. That's why Fox isn't running the knife story. It doesn't push the anti-gun agenda well enough.
The knifing story actually points out there are more ways to die than gunshot wounds.

Look for a cafeteria lady to go postal and...you know.
