Or do you carry one for personal protection? That would honestly be my only use for one but I believe I am a tad to clumsy to have it be a effective means for protection.

I carry mine for personal protection and I use it at work a good amount. I'm just glad my school isn't totally communist. They still allow students to carry knives as long as the blades under 4", it's not a fixed blade, not spring assisted, and does not have a serrated edge.

Use it at work?
You cut the pizzas with a nasty pocket knife?

If you listen quietly, you can here the sound of some leather slapping. Rex is coming for you!

Oh OK my mistake, but in my honest opinion my leather man or my S.O.G. multi tool are my go to choice for everyday neither have ever let me down daily life or in the outdoors

bench made is another good knife in my opinion just an opinion so take it for what it's worth a knife or firearm you should only carry and use what you are comfortable with and can use competently or you're just asking for problems

I like how everyone knows not just the make of their knife, but the model too. Mines a knife. By cold steel. Who the hell knows the model. It doesn't have a little bitch sized blade.

Watch and pocket knife are a must for me. I've turned around 30 min from home to go get my watch before.

Serrations are only good for cutting rope. I have to do that a lot working on the ranch.

I bet you could lay some serious peanut butter with that knife.

I bet you could, never tried it. Don't want to mess up the blade. I carry it for personal defense in case I'm attacked by a bear, mountain lion, wolf, or badger. You just never know what the day will bring. It's always better to be prepared.

Personally, I prefer carbon steel to stainless. Holds an edge better and can throw sparks.
