You won't kill any at all unless you go hunting.........Think back to last year......All that time practicing you duck calling but not in the field, in your room or your truck. I wish you better luck this season.

I'm just gonna see what happens, it's out of our hands anyways. In the last week I've heard a mix of stories about what the rice and refuges are going to be allotted. Until rice harvest I'm not going to speculate.

The birds that migrate down the west side of the valley will hit the delta areas before they hit the grasslands but the birds that move more eastwardly will hit the foothill lakes then the grasslands , eventually most will go in and out of the grasslands.

No I'm not forgetting it but if and I do mean if this go's down your still talking thousands of areas less for the birds and most importantly much of that ground gets no hunting pressure which means the birds get in there and sit.
The butte sink gets a ton of pressure and that in it self will keep the birds moving .
At least that's my opinion , I don't mind the places that get hunted it's the sanctuary fields that kill you.

Most of those clubs only see a couple of hunters each shoot day witch is only three days a week and hunting stops at 11 a.m . Hell we got a buddy that runs one of the bigger clubs in there. They'll go a week or more with out a member even showing up. Most of that hunting area is damn sanctuary anyways. I'm just thinking that the birds will get in there and not leave most of the season.
