The internet!

Actually I agree with Rick: Goretex et al. And I've made the same case in regards to fly fishing. Nothing effects a day afield/on the water more than comfort. Not fancy shells or specialty chokes or battery operated decoys. Not fishing rods made to perform beyond the skill level of 99% of anglers. A good pair of optically correct, polarized sun glasses is right up there, too.

I'm with Rick, I'm not sure if it's true but I've been told the first spinners were made in District 10 in Yuba County California. I was maybe 12 or 13 when they made their debut.

How about g&h decoys, boot?

Well not on in the last 15 years but some would argue that they have revolutionized the game.

Gor-tex has been around much longer, as this photo of an exceptionally handsome young man Canada hunting in what I recall as Cabela's first Gor-tex jacket and hat had to be taken before 1983:

But Gor-tex and its Columbia, Hodgman and Drake knock-offs never did anything in a coat but get me wet until Rivers West came along with theirs that looks and breathes like Visqueen. I've always had to top all but the Rivers West with a vinyl or urethane parka to stay dry in real rain.

In that time frame, I would say boots like Muck, or Bogs. Todays waders kick way more ass than the old stiff, heavy, cold rubber or canvas ones too.

I think we might have just figured out that there hasn't been much "innovation" in the last 15 years.
The only one that
Now, if the cap had been 20 years,...The robo duck, REAL layout blinds, the 3 1/2" 12 gauge was right around then I believe,
"Americanized" mud motors, uber improvements to steel shot,...etc.

This generation's contributions have been the cough suppressor and the butt out. :qh:

Unquestionably a game changer. Out of the 4 random G&H's I have In my spread that's where the green tops land 70% of the time, every time.

It's a small thing but I am going to put Texas rigged style Decoys up on the list. I have to huff it in to a lot of spots and they have made my hunting a lot easier.
