Guess what boys? It'll be minimum of 3 years before prices soften...US Beef herd is the smallest it's been since 1960 something and the developing Asian economies have gotten a taste for animal protein and they want more...Supply and Demand.

With the cheese. You should make an eye patch out of a rabbit fur, and constantly refer to is as "The Vag".

I heard pig prices are super high cuz they are sick or something. You'd think if they all had the flu the meat would be super cheap cuz it was too tangy or something.

Maybe duck hammer can explain why he hasn't given all his chickens some weird std that inocculates them with a unique tanginess that would hike his profits and double his pleasure.

there are some nasty bugs going around hog confinements. so much so you always wear plastic booties over boots and you never wear your clothes that you work in to a sale barn or other farm.

Fellow I took to the marsh yesterday afternoon told of a friend's broken-legged bull bringing $1,800 at auction, instead of the expected $400 or $500. Mighty expensive burger.

Noticed it at the sale barn. My dad is only running 50 head right now bc land has been hard to come by. But with beef prices going up and a lot of the old farmers we've known forever dying off or retiring and leasing out their pasture land to us we've been starting to expand in the last couple months.
