Just an example but lots of people take it that seriously when spending their time and gas finding spots. Personally I'm a lineman at the power company I work my 40 every week plus 700-1200 hrs over a year. I have 2 kids that play sports which I help coach for them and the other kids. I don't have time to scout and find spots for me and my crew then worry about someone else getting out of group and sneaking in. Gotta look at it from all angles. Is it legal yes but I wouldn't do it and don't expect it to be done. Everyone has their own opinion and I'm not trying to be a ****, it's just a touchy subject once it happens to you. Just think you find a good spot and take a buddy. Next year you don't hunt together birds are in you go to setup and he's in your hole...
I dont think anyone is saying what he is doing is morally right, just legal. I think everyone would be torked off if someone you introduced to a little honey hole showed up and took control of your spot, good friend or ex. Some people just dont care and have no morals to honor anyone elses hard work. Reminds me of the Lance Armstrong wannabees who wont ride on the tax paid bike trails and prefer to hold up traffic just because it's legal.
Heck, I'd rather he steals my wife than my hunting spot!(dont anyone tell her I said that
)
I agree, again I never said legal or illegal though. I thought it went without saying that it was legal. I Think maybe I've said enough on this one so I'll set out and read on
