That is the very definition of not having principles.
No, zero principles, is different than being 100% principled which he is not, not even close.
You never keep your mouth shut to go along to get along. Given you recent promotion, I'm guessing you've let a few things slide along the way. Does that mean you have no principles? Of course not. Just those things didn't matter as much as more important things.
Trump seems to care about very little. That is not a good thing. That doesn't mean he has no principles. Certainly not your or my principles. When I registered as a Democrat to get a job, what principle did I violate? I didn't care at that time, I was a dumbass 18 year old kid that didn't care one way or the other.
Like Obama. although we knew a lot more about Obama, we simply do not know what Trump believes and people are mostly just projecting on him. His style of attack turns a lot of people off, but that is politics today, but you are supposed to get your surrogates in the media and on the internet to say and do what Trump does while pretending to be above that. In one way he is a very honest candidate by openly doing what most of the rest do in secret.
He doesn't allow you to pretend politicians are not politicians. We want to be conned. We want to pretend Hillary is not an awful human being. We want to pretend Romney is not an ass. We want to pretend Kerry is not an idiot and a liar. We want to pretend we are not voting for terrible people even though we almost always are because that is who runs and what it takes to get there which is the worst part. It is why things are in a death spiral. Hillary will not pull out. Trump. Who the hell knows. Not much to lose sadly.
