Same here, but it was venison. Best recipe I've had for roast, I think, but I was skeptical at first.

Put 3 1/2-4 pounds of roast in crockpot. Add 1 packet au jus gravy mix, 1 packet ranch dressing mix, 6 whole pepperoncinis, and set a stick of butter in top. Don't add any water. Cook on low fir 8 hours. Pretty darn good.
