Or, if it is causing a block for her in her learning, then going your route and having her demonstrate success and avoiding the stupid ones/tens/hundred questions. Will be fun to see the teachers response.

She gets plenty of work. I do agree with your point, but it's akin to dropping me in the middle of an advanced physics class, with no prior classes, and expecting me to "learn new things" rather than get frustrated and pissed off. I agree that it's necessary to work through hard things, but this is like trying to build a house with a cinder block and a stick- they don't have the proper tools yet. They haven't even added or subtracted 3 digit numbers yet, for Pete's sake.
I'm curious to see what (if anything) the teacher has to say as well. If she takes me up on the offer of a call, I will happily go see her. And then I will ask to see in the work they've done up to this point where they learned and practiced adding and subtracting 3 digit numbers (they haven't), algebra (they haven't), or 2-step problem solving (they haven't). Maybe I''ll hand her a sheet of paper and a pencil and start speaking in Korean, demanding she transcribe it. Because hey, she knows how to write and listen and recognize grammar patterns. No reason for her to get it wrrong or to get frustrated, is there?

I was third in my class and I have trouble spelling all the time. Does that make me a failure?
(I would use the at sign but I don't want to accidentally call you and asshole)

More time and effort should be put into sentance structure, and match word problems.
