20 bluebills and 10 redheads.

First-Flight Decoys...

the deeks arrived a couple days ago, and it pains me to say it, but they suck.

The paint job is bad, the shape is all wrong, 20 of the 30 showed up damaged.

12 have paint already chipping off, 8 came with the bottoms caved in so bad they don't float up right.

They didn't use a thermoset plastic so when they get hot they loose there shape and they didn't bake on the paint.

I don't want to say bad things about this company, because their customer service was sooooo good. So good in fact I elected to keep the ten good ones, knowing they won't last a whole season. I guess you get what you pay for, but their cutomer service was fantastic... If they change their molds, materials, and process I would take the chance and buy from them again, just on that fact alone.

Just thought I would let everyone know so they don't make the same mistake.

Storm fronts aren't bad for the price, but G&H are the king of durability.

And they kill birds. Makes buying $100+/doz seem down right foolish

I know, I know... we talked about this like 2 weeks ago, I have dozens of G&H decoys, but I was trying to be a cheap ass this time and paid for it.

And the really nice thing, there are enough idiots around that I was able to sell my 6 dozen storm fronts this year for about $250...

FA Eliminator Express, I hate that blind with a fucking passion. Not only is it not suitable for big guys (as my old man described it, just a bit smaller than a youth sized sleeping bag, shouldn't be a problem for you), it has to be about the worst designed blind of all time. My recommendation to you is to scrap the knee/gun rest and pull the conduit brackets out as the ends always seem to be rubbing on your calves. If you do that, you will basically have a Power Hunter without the lid. Still hate that thing.

It's a Cabelas blind, did they just rebadge the eliminator?

Nope. Missed that one entirely, first glance and the price (usually always see the FAs in the bargain cave for $89) caught me off-guard. Mobil 1 is a decent blind, actually for ease of use probably one of my favorites. Very simplistic design but still functional. Only downfall of the frameless blinds is they are a little harder to keep grassed, but other than that I think you'll be satisfied with it.

I don't think so. I've only ever seen the mallards and the woodrows. I just repaint the mallards for black ducks. They have geese, too, but if I remember right, they aren't very cheap (I think). There's always some left at gander mountain at the end of the season, because people prefer the high dollar GHGs they sell. I've never paid more than $24.99 for a dozen mallards.

They're Flambeaus "bargain line", which is about the same as saying a car is in Kia's "bargain line".

Jarbo runs them and so do I. I will use them in my boat as they have a deep keel. I think I have like 3 dozen of them.

This is one thing I will miss about Storm Fronts, they have a great keel set up for multiple anchor points.

Picture won't show. What'd you get? I'm still stongly considering a pair, I like the looks of the Macks breathable but am leaning towards reb's recommendation on the warranty on cabelas brand.

$200 I wanted the pockets. Really suprised there isn't 900 extra feet of material left over with my narrow ass in them. They are naturally big but tolerable.
