Beef stew seasoning, little corn starch, and the real kicker is, a good beef kielbasa or sausage.

Dude, you've got to try the tater tot hash brown thing. You're the first person I know that actually has a waffle maker. Take a bunch of thawed out raw tater tots, put them in the waffle iron, and you get one huge, waffle-esque hash brown. My love for tater tots has almost led me to buy a waffle iron, but I haven't caved yet.
