Got it! Just picked her up. 1 man Domeyer scull boat. One of his original designs. It's in great shape. Just needs a fresh coat of paint

AT...because this was an original design and build, it's 12' long and about 110-120 lbs. Newer ones of the same size run in the 80-100 lb range.

I have 2 questions:
How much did that bad boy cost ya?

Why does it appear to have an anus on the back?

five hundo. It's a good price.

The hole or anus is where the sculling oar goes. Here's a picture of the neoprene boot on the inside of the anus. The boots fits tight and keeps water from seeping inside

So how do you sit during the scull?

Do you sit on your butt with your feet out in front of you? Or is is more of a prone position?

I ask because I've heard you say sculling is a slow process taking your time to sneak up on the birds.

QH it's nothing to spend $1000-$2000 for a newer model. This one's a bit older. In time I'll upgrade. Maybe when Sam's old enough to scull, i'll hand this one down to him an upgrade myself

And yes I have another. This is it

Does it ever make you feel a little bit gay when you're putting the oar in that thing?

I've hunted out of one similar to the 2 man in the pics. I've been looking to buy one ever since. Haven't seen one within reasonable distance of me for under 1000.00 for at least 10 years. :( Sucks!
