Nope we get one a day. Funny too cause lots of my holes are chock full of 'em. Shoot one right after LST and spend the rest of the morning trying to spot mallards mixed in with flights of black ducks.

I know darn well one of those NE states has 2 a day. I don't remember which conversation it was, though. Unless my leg was being pulled.

Ordinarily, I might say "Google is your friend," but searching "atlantic flyway migratory bird season framework" says you lost something to feel MD screwed you over. Weren't their choice: http://www.fws.gov/news/ShowNews.cfm?ID=3F748C62-E7B1-3CB3-211444E9742A312C

Atlantic Flyway (Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Vermont, Virginia, and West Virginia):

Ducks: A hunting season is proposed of not more than 60 days between September 21, 2013, and January 26, 2014. The proposed daily bag limit is 6 and may include no more than 4 mallards (2 hens), 4 scoters, 3 wood ducks, 2 redheads, 2 hooded mergansers, 2 scaup, 1 black duck, 2 pintails, 2 canvasbacks, 1 mottled duck, and 1 fulvous whistling duck.

When I was speaking of MD screwing us over, I was referring to Canadas.

In retrospect, I think the black duck limit was a conversation with flight control, who's in Canada. Thank goodness the Atlantic flyway stops at the border, though. So much for "international treaties."

We get 15/day for Canadas for 25 days, then it goes to only 3/day for the rest of the season. Straight up retarded. I would take the whole season off if I could shoot 15/day the whole season.

It's my impression from the link that the feds probably set your Canada limit for practical purposes, as well, by varying the frameworks within which the different states must stay. Isn't always the case, but most states tend to take all the Feds allow.

Just seeing this at 3 pages but I've always thought it was common knowledge that a duck call sounded different the further away you got from the caller and was supposed to.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

Sometimes the simplest and most obvious things elude us, etspecially when we're overwhelmed with "what's the best choke tube?" kinda stuff.

Smart guys use peanut butter to cover up the ball scent on a dogs breath. Don't want your wife finding out!
