It was a pretty pathetic hamburger. Not enough hot sauce.

I was skeptical, but decided to try it... Very happy I did. They kind of caramelize in the pan. Add some salt and you have a nice crunchy, sweet and salty side dish.

I have mashed left over sweet taters into a thin patty and fried them, pretty good.

My favorite breakfast burritos. Scrambled eggs, grated and lightly browned Spicy Spam (the Tabasco flavored one), a few more shots of Tabasco sauce, all twisted up in a burrito wrapper.

Clyde's girlfriend fried some up in an obrien's style hashbrowns/home fries and they were real good. I'm not a fan of sweet potato or yams usually but, fried up with peppers and onions they were tasty.

Maybe I'll give them a whirl. I know sweet potatoes are good for you, but like you said, I'm not a big fan.

Not sure where the "they're good for you" bit just came from. That's rarely, if ever, a factor in me deciding what to eat.

These were out of the bay for at least 30 minutes before they were put in the steamer.

Crab omelettes with hollandaise sauce for breakfast. Eggs shipped in from the backyard.

I miss good seafood. Used to go crabbing and boil em right on the beach.
