Shiner bock is right in there on the curve. Nothing special about it. Can name about 20 beers I'll buy before shiner.

I forgot about that. I'll see if I can find some this weekend.

Haha. Lemon shandy, not handy.

A lemon handy might sting a little.

It's the solid go to beer. Others are good but you kinda have to be in the mood for some beers. Shiner is always good.

It's not so much the "draft" as it is the craft.

I love doing stuff by hand but grinding meat is not one of them. I used one just like that for one deer then went and bought an fancy electric one!

Mount it on a table so that it is comfortable for your wife to use. A busy woman is a happy woman.

I was thinking similarly. It was in the bargain cave at cabelas though, so I'm not too invested in it. We'll see how it goes.

Hooking it down will be a must. Also, and maybe its just because my grinder is a cheap-o, cutting the meat into roughly 2" cubes makes it go faster that bigger chunks.

Regardless of whether you are using a hand grinder or electric, you want the meat just at the edge of freezing. It grinds better and any sinew, tendon or fat will not wind up behind the cutting plates. Cutting it in 1"-2" pieces was also great advice.
