Not everyone has an extra 10K laying around to do that, plus the more people do that the more farms stop letting people do it for free. Making it harder to break in to the sport for new comers. Long story short, you are hurting the sport when you do that.

Where I live companies lease out land for hunting. None of the ranchers want to just let you hunt when they can make several thousand a gun for deer around here.

There's a construction company that does that at home for dove season. The guys that work there/get to hunt are some of the worst sobs on the planet. Chase up birds with 4-wheelers, shoot 2 or 3 limits, hunt on other sides of the fence(our land). Bad shit all around. Don't know why the guy leases to them, they don't pick up hulls or anything.

Okay I am the one that does all the scouting, I am the one the get all the land to hunt. So whats your point. you don't even hunt in my state or anywhere close to me. so if I want to spend my money on some leases what does it matter to you I have leased this land 13 years now.

Id love to do a sea duck hunt, but it's not something I think I would do all the time. My buddy offered to take me a couple weekends ago on the bay. I already had plans to go deer waiting. Still kicking myself I didn't go. They pounded em both days out there.

Yep. That's why I own 2 farms in my town and year lease 2 fields in Arkansas. This was a question asked not how does everyone hunt. This deal I spoke of was years ago and the 1 public spot I still hunt. You don't know me or how I hunt/what I own. I was responding to the question asked
