It's the kind of liquor you buy for the taste. You don't mix it with anything except maybe an ice cube.
Templeton is for when you got an hour or more to smoke a nice cigar. Tasting whiskey.
The buzz is excellent. It's goes great with a cigar.

The "small batch" means it's probably distilled more than once.
That kind of quality is worth the extra dollars.

i didnt buy it but my brother and folks had this done for me, and had it hanging above the fire place as a surprise for me when i came back. deer i shot in 2012. just had the head stuck up on the wall of the garage.

Ever had quality stuff? Big difference. Black label isn't even the same league as the blue label but it's better than other big name drink out there.
