Ever had quality stuff? Big difference. Black label isn't even the same league as the blue label but it's better than other big name drink out there.

Bourbon on the regular or blended whiskey. I love scotch but it has to be quality.

That was aimed at the whiskey/scotch. Kettle One is a flavorless nectar of the gods...

I was looking forward to meeting him this past season at the camp of a friend who collects his calls, but it didn't happen. My loss by all accounts, even if I weren't a closet fan of his calls. If I were a collector...

If I went to his place, I'd feel obligated to buy, which I'd rather not. Try not to buy more than one new one a year these days and only stuff I hope to use, which wouldn't be the case with those of his I've tried. Not that they're not ducky, just not for my purposes. Might think I'm nuts, but I've liked his simple calls better than the ornate ones. If I were to have one just to have it, would probably be persimmon and very plain.

If you think those are ugly, you should see my last 3 pairs of crocs canvas. I literally walked through the sole of the first 2 pairs and got a big hole in the last pair. I like them and are really comfortable.
