I have been putting the finishing touches on my boat and my decoys. I have been making a list of things to get for the opening hunt this weekend. I have cleaned gun like three times packed and repacked the blind bag. What are something's y'all do.

Repeat this mantra over and over:
Gun, shells, waders, coat,
Dog, decoys, gas in the boat.
All else is a luxary that can be managed without.

Super glue is great for if you cut yourself or even blisters. Hold the cut shut, make sure it is dry, and apply super glue. Works great and holds up for a few days. Blisters too, pop blister, drain, glue over the hole.

TP is in the blind bag (and truck), blind bag is covered by "shells" in my mantra.

You guys have weak bowels. I've never NEEDED to shit in the woods and as a result I almost never carry TP with me unless I'm out over night.

You've never bonded with your dog until you've shit side by side looking over the decoys with the sun coming up.

Hey I said I've never needed to do it. I had a conversation with some Co workers the other day about shitting in the woods vs home. I'm in favor.

Haven't had to yet this year, but I'm not afraid to. My best, or worst, was years ago after a night of apple chips and a 12 pack. On a goose hunt I struggled to get back to ny truck for some TP, I was parked in the ditch on a gravel road, I could make it no further, I dropped my pants in the ditch with no cover and commenced to shit violently. At the same time a school bus crested the hill going slow, it creeped past ad I was spraying a stream, I never felt more proud.

I always seem to get a lot of water in my boat, mostly from my dog getting in and out.
My plug however is on a chain like it should be.
