Do you hunt dirt tanks or just glass for them? I've only ever seen people hunt dirt tanks for antelope.

Spot and stalk. My cousin and uncle have them lined out, don't have to look long once we start hunting. Last year it took me less than 2 hours.

I shot mine at 180. Depending on the terrain you are hunting, if you stay low and don't move too fast, there is no reason you shouldn't be able to get within 250-300.

It is an awesome trip. Need to get me a better camera before I go this year. Learned a lot about the waterfowl areas last year, 2 national wildlife refuges and Big Lake WMA within 10 miles, along with no other hunters.

That area is loaded with speed goats. I got the archery tag this year, hunting season starts Aug. 15 for me this year :thumbsup:
