Not sure of % of successful applicants, my buddy was not successful this year. Have pics of the last few years I will post when I have not had so many beers.

Do you hunt dirt tanks or just glass for them? I've only ever seen people hunt dirt tanks for antelope.

Spot and stalk. My cousin and uncle have them lined out, don't have to look long once we start hunting. Last year it took me less than 2 hours.

I know they have good eyes- what's an acceptable distance, 350?

I shot mine at 180. Depending on the terrain you are hunting, if you stay low and don't move too fast, there is no reason you shouldn't be able to get within 250-300.

A few pics from last years adventure.
This is the town my relatives live in, it is located in the Stillwater Basin of Montana. The rim of the basin on other side of town is the back side of Big Coulee.

It is an awesome trip. Need to get me a better camera before I go this year. Learned a lot about the waterfowl areas last year, 2 national wildlife refuges and Big Lake WMA within 10 miles, along with no other hunters.

It is official. Goats, pheasant, huns, sharpies, and prairie dogs beware. Ducks better watch their ass too.
