Wild Justice

Does it annoy anyone else that they never show any good ethical hunters on the show? I realize they need ratings but if a non hunter watches this show they'll think we're all crack head poachers.

That show has made our wardens the laughing stock of the state

I have seen a few of those guys while driving around the north state, every time I see one of the "TV" wardens it makes me laugh. What a strange group of guys. Unfortunately, it highlights a lot of the bad things that "hunters" do, I wish the show would just go away. I don't think the anti-hunting groups need any more help in their cause, especially here in CA.

Watched a few minutes of an episode this afternoon and these kids were poaching rabbits and one of the rabbits was just wounded. They clearly dubbed wounded rabbit sounds into the show. What a joke.

Me or the Warden? I don't really know if it was a .40 but he did use his service pistol so I assume it was that or either a 9mm....

I spent the 4th at my best buddy's BBQ (remember my recent bachelor week?). There was a guy there in the testing process with F&G. My buddy and I got hammered and turned on wild justice. We all watched back to back episodes. We talked so much shit to that future warden

Not to bring this thread back, but the Warden used his Mag light to kill the crippled bunny. They put the gun shot in because the tree humping hippies in this state wouldn't be able to handle the fact of a rabbit getting bludgeoned to death. It's a total joke. Boot, Spoon, and I know are buddy's with the kid ridding with the County Deputy that stop the truck. It's amazing how much they doctor it up for T.V

I missed that totally. I was most likely on my laptop and just heard the shot on tv.

I can settle this. I was not there but my buddy was the deputy out on the call with the warden. The warden killed the cotton tail with a mag light but the show put the fake ass gun shot noise for drama I'm sure.

I got stopped by the colusa county guy one night leaving our duck club. He was friendly and didn't have a chip on his shoulder, but this is also one of the few on the show that's acts normal also.
My buddy got stopped by the guy on the show that said he feels like the loan ranger... If you watch wild justice you can imagine how that went.

Come on guys, didn't you hear the gamey at the beginning of the show "without us, there'd be no game". Well, something like that.
As for rabbits, in Oregon, they are listed as predators because of the damage they do. You can shoot cottontail or jacks 365 days a year, no limit.

Honestly, When I get stopped witch is usually a few times a season. I really don't have much time get find out anything about the guy. I hunt alot of public property so I'm kinda in a rush to get to my spot. So I try and not give them a reason to detain me any longer then they have to, checking licenses and shells ect.... Most of the time its the old song and dance of "Hi I'm such and such with the Department of Fish and Game" I would like to check your Hunting licenses, gun and shells. When they're done checking me I dont ask how there wife and kids are, I generally complain that He has now made me late and I surely have lost my spot, and if he cares he would hold the next group of hunters and extra few minutes. 8-)
