I would like to say thanks to all those who attended the 1st annual WFF No Coast Hunt. It was great meeting all of you, you are all welcome in my house or blind anytime. As we all know, we faced some bad conditions and the hunting was lacking. The attitude of everybody was amazing, regardless of results. We worked hard and had a great time. Time spent in the fields was great, but time spent in my kitchen may have been better Dale, thanks for picking up some Templeton, now you know why I kept mentioning it, I';; have a bottle waiting for you next time, always a good time passing the bottle around like a $2 hooker. Mike and Chris made the long drive from Wyoming and Oregon, that is dedication, I definitely look forward to hunting and fishing with you two in the future. Shaun, we have talked a lot in the days leading up to this hunt, you were everything I was expecting, we will smoke some turkeys next spring. Eric, we talked about a 16 ga hunt last year, we need to make it happen, after a year or more it was nice to finally hunt together. Skyler I still say thanks for the helping me with my Silver, I will get you set up with a loader this summer, look forward to more hunts this season. Was glad Tom could made some hunts also, Brandy made a great retrieve on the river which is always fun to watch. Really wish GKR and Eric could have made it, Olly and I are not convinced that he wasn't there, spying from the bushes!! :scooter: And to the bossman, had a great time with you staying at my house. As we talked about, this was a big deal for WFF, members drove from far and away knowing the hunting would be tough, and everyone had a great time and made the best of it. WFF has assembled a great group of guys, look forward to hunting with many more members. I'll be waiting with my bags packed when you arrive next November. If all are interested, I would gladly host the 2nd annual NCH. Thanks for the good times and happy hunting!

Looking forward to following the West Coast Hunt, if it is anything like the NCH, you will have an amazing time.

Jerry it was a success even though we didn't kill many birds. A good time was had by all.

Maybe next season we could have it a little earlier (first weekend in Dec?) its always cold here in Dec but this was unusual to lock it all up so early. The pisser is that for the last ten days we have been loaded up with birds. But that is just the way hunting goes.

I loved hearing the chorus of duck and goose callers. Except for Ollys whistle LOL.

Brandy was a tired dog last night.

Thanks for putting the hunt together.

Not sure how I missed this the first time, but the good Lord willing I won't miss any future NCH's. Jarbo is a hell of a host, especially considering all the assholes Olly managed to round up! Birds or no birds, it was a hell of a good time, can't wait to do it again!

Seeing this is the coldest winter in over 30 years, I wouldn't expect the same weather 2 years in a row. Just in case, think I have my old man into helping me with the purchase of an ice eater, should be good either way.

Even though Mike wanted to sleep outside using only a tarp, a trash bag full of leafs, and his toga dress, TK talked him into sleeping inside.

That is actually true. QH is about as tough (and nice) a dude as you will ever meet. He. very politely asked me back in Sep if he could camp in my barnyard. We talked about it and I said fuck no you are going to sleep inside.

He would have camped in the freezing cold with no problem.

she was afraid she'd accidentally see him in the middle of the night walking naked down the hall.

Tell her not to feel bad, that would scare the shit out of anyone.
